About
We are the pioneer culinary school in the Philippines. Spanning more than 20 years in culinary education, we have always believed in the talent of Filipino chefs. Our aim is to nurture the chefs of the future by providing innovative culinary education & a strong foundation of knowledge, skills, and attitude.
We hope to fulfill as many culinary dreams as we can.

Our Story
It all began with a group of visitors from Canada, specifically Northern Alberta Institute of Technology. During their visit, they toured the then adobe building that housed Cravings, the restaurant and bakeshop, of mother-daughter tandem, Annie Guerrero & Badjie Trinidad.
One of the visitors asked out of curiosity, “Where do Filipinos learn how to cook?” Both Annie & Badjie were stunned by the question. During that time, Filipinos learned how to cook at home and from relatives. This led to them seeking the help of Dr. John Knapp, project coordinator of The Northern Alberta Institute of Technology, and The College of Home Economics of the University of the Philippines, Diliman to build an effective curriculum. The next three years would be the start of paving the way for several Filipino chefs & culinarians.
CCA Manila was inaugurated in November of 1996 and officially became the Philippines’ first culinary education institution.

Our Team
CCA Manila boasts of credible culinary educators. Culinary excellence runs in the family.
Meet Our Founders

“For me, cooking is more than a chore, a means to an end or even a hobby. I must admit the influence of Zen here which has taught me that cooking is a personal spiritual act and that food is a part of the great cycle of life. That is why I recommend the use of fresh ingredients, the maintenance of an absolutely clean kitchen, the practice of cooking with whatever is on hand, of cooking frugally, of recycling leftovers and eliminating wastage. This is cooking with respect, harmony, purity, and tranquility: cooking with love. Which is a redundancy, perhaps, for what else is cooking but a gesture of love? Annie P. Guerrero, Cooking with Love
